We offer a unique platform committed to inclusivity, providing exclusive programs, diverse resources, and industry insights. Our Mission
Addressing a Critical Challenge in STEM
In the UK, STEM jobs account for 7.8 percent of all jobs—equivalent to 2.5 million jobs overall. These careers are projected to grow by 8% in the next 5 years, yet millions of STEM jobs are projected to go unfilled in the near future. It's concerning that in the UK, less than half of STEM graduates work in STEM occupations. This pipeline leakage is problematic for various reasons. Another common challenge we observed is that a STEM job or STEM career is not a clear concept, and the journey from a STEM subject or degree to a job is often ambiguous. If this problem isn't addressed, the future of STEM remains uncertain. This challenge is not constricted to the UK.
Our Journey and Impact
From Passion Project to a Driving Force for STEM Excellence
Wenite began as a passion project in 2018 when our founder, Jennifer Dominic, a Bioscience 1st class graduate, saw the need for a clear path from STEM education to rewarding careers. With a background in healthcare and life sciences, Jennifer has navigated the complexities of a STEM career. After realising that many individuals face similar challenges, Wenite was born as a platform to unite and empower the STEM community. In a short time, we've achieved impressive milestones, reaching millions and leaving an indelible impact. We've worked with over 100 individuals, invested 100,000+ voluntary hours, had over 80,000 viewers, all while gathering 2,000+ followers and countless success stories.

Jennifer Dominic
Passionate STEM Advocate and Leader in Healthcare and Life Sciences
Jennifer’s journey from a Bioscience graduate to a healthcare and life sciences leader is a testament to Wenite's mission. She is a dedicated advocate of diversity, equity, and inclusion, having led EBRGs at her company at a UK and international level. Jennifer’s career has spanned across various roles, including Oncology Brand and Customer Management (Marketing), Strategic Oncology Alliances Management, Clinical Research Management, and more. As the founder of Wenite, she dedicates her time to help the next generation of STEM professionals and leaders navigate their career paths.
