Contributing to Wenite has impacted my personal or professional growth by giving me the opportunity to do outreach through the careers profile (video), which is an activity we, as lecturers, are encouraged to participate in. This, I hope, has helped others see the diverse range of backgrounds and career paths that lead into Science.

New skills that i have gained by contributing to Wenite which i wouldn’t have otherwise gained include:
Public speaking
Outreach

Contributing to Wenite has possibly enabled more brand visibility. I have shared information with our students.

The most fulfilling part of my Wenite journey as a contributor is being able to contribute to the diversification of the scientific community, even if only through modest contributions.

I would very likely recommend volunteering or contributing to Wenite to others.
